What time should guests arrive?
Please arrive at the ceremony at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow time for seating and settling in.

After the ceremony, kindly proceed directly to the Reception Venue.

Is there a dress code?
Ceremony - Semi Formal
Reception - Casual — think swimwear and braai-ready!
Come relaxed and ready to celebrate.

Is there parking available?
Yes, parking will be available at the Kingdom Hall and the Venue.

Are there recommended hotels & guesthouses nearby?
Yes — if you need help finding accommodation, please feel free to reach out to either Gershwin or Jancanet, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Will transportation be provided between locations?
No, guests are kindly asked to arrange their own transport.

Will there be a meal served?
We’re having a bring-&-braai!
Please bring your own meat, salads, sauces, drinks and anything else you’d like to enjoy.
Wood and ice will be available for purchase on-site.
And if you forget anything—no worries! There’s a Spar right across the road from the venue for last-minute essentials.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
No
alcohol is permitted in the park.

Is there a cash bar or open bar?
No, as alcohol is not allowed in the park.
Let’s keep the celebration festive with great food, good company, and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks!

Are children welcome?
Yes, but only immediate children are invited. Please note that there are pools throughout the venue, so parents are fully responsible for supervising their children at all times. Vigilance is essential for everyone’s safety.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Only if your personal invitation specifies a plus-one.

As full-time volunteers, we live simply and pour our hearts into service. If you’d like to support us, monetary contributions would be deeply appreciated and truly helpful.

We’d love to see the day through your eyes—just please be mindful and respectful during the more intimate moments.

Will there be a professional photographer?
Yes, we’ll have a professional photographer capturing the big moments. But we also treasure the candid, personal shots from our guests—so please snap away, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the photographer’s work.!

Can I post photos on social media?
We kindly ask that no photos be posted online without our permission.
